CENTIN / Futurizm, University of Management & Technology (UMT), in collaboration with SMEDA (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority), successfully organized a training session titled “Entrepreneurship as a Career Option” on January 06, 2026, at Saleem Asghar Ali Hall, UMT Main Campus.
The session was designed to create awareness among students about entrepreneurship as a viable and sustainable career path. It aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, opportunity identification, and the support ecosystem available for aspiring entrepreneurs in Pakistan.
The session was conducted by Mr. Awais K. (Ben Mehtab), an experienced entrepreneur and leadership development trainer. He shared practical insights from his professional journey, highlighting the importance of innovation, leadership, and strategic thinking in building successful ventures. Students from various disciplines actively participated in the session, making it highly engaging and informative. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants shared their ideas and queries, reflecting strong interest in entrepreneurship and startup development.
